Documents for travel
Philippines
Documents required for entry into the country:
A passport is required, valid for at least 6 (six) months from the date of arrival in the country.
Entry into the country is permitted on presentation of a return air ticket, or an onward ticket out of the country to a destination other than the one you arrived from.
Please also note that at Philippine international airports all departing passengers are required to pay an airport tax, the amount of which varies.
Holders of an Italian passport do not need to apply for a visa in advance for stays of up to 30 days. A visa (Visa on Arrival) will be granted in the form of a stamp placed in the passport by the border authorities, on presentation of a return or onward air ticket. For a work visa, a business visa or a long-term stay, you must apply to the Philippine diplomatic mission responsible for your place of residence. Completion of the online "e-Arrival Card" form via the website https://etravel.gov.ph is compulsory. We recommend completing the form within the 72 hours before departure to avoid any inconvenience on arrival. The QR code generated by this application must be shown to the airline at boarding and on arrival in the Philippines.
