2019 - 30 Years of Guiness Journeys

In 1989 a young, visionary traveller set out to follow a dream: like a craftsman, he simply wanted to “build journeys”. It was from the passion and brilliant intuitions of its founder that the adventure of Guiness Travel began. 

Guiness Travel set about reworking, in its own way, the many flaws of the chaotic “world of organised travel”, taking its first steps with coach tours across Italy and Europe. 

The response from the Guiness Travellers was so rewarding that, in 1999, the first tours by air were enthusiastically launched in Europe, going on in the following years to conquer the most distant and captivating destinations across the World.

Almost bucking the modern trend, it is only recently that we carried out a complete restyling of the brand and the logo, with a fresh, intuitive and content-rich web design that makes it easier to connect our Guinessers and our travel agencies, but the essence of Guiness Travel has not changed, nor has the motto of the past thirty years: “the difference between a journey and a holiday!”.

Today, as then, the planning is still in the same hands and, above all, in the same dreaming, travelling mind… enriched by 30 years of experience in the field.

All the itineraries in the catalogue are 100% independently planned and are meticulously researched and tested, allowing the product to evolve constantly and to reach a high, wide-ranging cultural standard, thanks to the continuous monitoring provided by the feedback of our Travellers, through satisfaction questionnaires, reviews and photographic records.

Over time, an endless passion for “Travel” has forged the identity of Guiness Travel and has strengthened its mission, despite the global economic and political upheavals of recent years, allowing us to keep crafting “dream journeys”.

For the future, we reaffirm our commitment to our loyal Guiness travellers to keep researching and creating the Guiness Journey, driven always by the same spirit, the same goals, the same passion and always striving for excellence!
