Description
Highlights Argentina: from the elegance of Buenos Aires to the immensity of the glaciers
This tour offers a complete and engaging overview of Argentina, embracing its natural and cultural diversity. It begins in Buenos Aires, a city that reveals a vibrant, cosmopolitan soul at every turn, thanks to the combination of iconic neighbourhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta and the lively Caminito of La Boca. An immersion in Argentine history, enriched by an evening excursion that unveils the magic of tango in a unique atmosphere. The journey continues to Ushuaia, “the end of the world”, where you will be enchanted by spectacular seascapes: the Beagle Channel, with its islands populated by sea lions and birds, and Tierra del Fuego National Park, a remote and adventurous landscape that opens the door to unspoilt nature. Finally, the tour reaches Patagonia with El Calafate and the majestic Perito Moreno, where you will experience the thrill of standing before imposing walls of ice, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and of sailing among the icebergs of Lago Argentino. This journey is a continuous discovery of scenery unique in the world, immersing every traveller in an authentic, intense and spectacular Argentina.
A close encounter with the glaciers of Patagonia
The beating heart of this tour is the immersion in the majesty of Patagonia, a land of wild landscapes and monumental glaciers. From El Calafate, a full day is devoted to sailing on Lago Argentino, between the spectacular Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and the expanses of icebergs set against the backdrop of the Andes. The most thrilling stage is the visit to the Perito Moreno Glacier: a natural wonder in constant motion, where you can observe at close quarters its walls of ice up to 60 metres high and hear the roar of the blocks that break away and crash into the water. It is an experience that brings the traveller closer to the power of nature, making this tour an unmissable opportunity for anyone who dreams of exploring the far reaches of our planet.
