Description
The best of Japan: futuristic metropolises, spirituality and timeless traditions.
A journey to Japan is an experience that leaves its mark, and this itinerary brings together its most iconic and meaningful stops. Tokyo, the point of departure and return, surprises with its hyper-connected districts, its neon signs and its temples tucked away among the skyscrapers. Kyoto enchants with its thousand-year-old shrines, zen gardens and traditional quarters, where geishas can still be encountered. Osaka seduces with the energy of its markets and the spectacle of its skyline. And then there is more: the Kiso Valley with the villages of Tsumago and Magome, suspended in time; Mount Fuji standing majestically against the clear skies of Shizuoka; the tea ceremony, the golden temples, the Shinkansen trains streaking like arrows between the cities. Each day offers a perfect balance of guided visits, evening strolls through the most atmospheric districts and free time to explore independently. The presence of a tour leader from Italy and Italian-speaking guides guarantees comfort and cultural depth. It is a tour designed for those who truly wish to connect with the soul of this country: from the urban frenzy to the calm of the shrines, from the crowded streets of Tokyo to the poetry of the wooden houses of the old Nakasendo. A journey capable of telling the story of Japan in a way that is authentic, rich and essential.
Kyoto, the ancient soul of Japan.
There are places that are worth the whole journey on their own. Kyoto is one of them. The ancient imperial capital, today it represents the spiritual and cultural heart of Japan, where natural beauty and the grace of traditional architecture live together in harmony. During our tour there will be the opportunity to explore it calmly and in depth, accompanied by expert guides and a tour leader from Italy. The visits lead to the most iconic places: Kiyomizu Temple with its great wooden terrace, the stone-paved lanes of Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka, the red torii gates of Fushimi Inari, the golden reflections of Kinkakuji. The walk through the Arashiyama bamboo forest is a unique sensory experience, as is the evening exploration of the Gion district, among softly glowing lanterns and wooden houses that tell of a past still very much alive. Kyoto is not merely a stop along the way, but a key to the profound refinement of the Japanese world. Every corner speaks of harmony, beauty and spirituality. It is a place that invites you to slow down, observe and listen. And to take home with you, once you return, something more than a simple memory.
