Description
Japan of contrasts: between spirituality and neon lights. A trip to Japan is far more than a holiday: it is a leap into a civilisation that surprises and captivates with its perfectly harmonised contrasts.
Our itinerary takes in the unmissable stops of the Land of the Rising Sun, combining ancient temples and Zen landscapes with the dazzling energy of its metropolises. We start in Tokyo, a sprawling megalopolis that welcomes you with its iconic districts: from Shibuya, with its legendary crossing, to Harajuku, the epicentre of creative Japanese fashion, and on to Shinjuku, where the past meets the skyscrapers of the future.
We then move on to Kyoto, a true treasure chest of tradition and spirituality: the golden pavilions, the rock gardens and the cobbled streets of the geisha district seem suspended in time. The tour continues with an excursion to Nara, the ancient capital and home of the sacred deer, before ending in sparkling Osaka, capital of street food and conviviality, where the pop soul and the gastronomic soul merge in an experience to be savoured to the full. The trip is designed for small groups (maximum 25 participants), with a guide/tour leader from Italy, organised transfers and a perfect mix of visits and free time to discover Japan in an authentic, relaxed way.
Japan Young: wonder at a light-footed pace. There is a Japan that is not content to be admired from afar: you cross it on foot, explore it district by district, taste it among the street stalls. It is the Japan of those who travel with curious eyes and a hunger for discovery. This Young tour is designed for those seeking a rich, dynamic and engaging experience, with a smart pace and a more contemporary slant, without giving up the great classics. Among the most iconic moments, you find yourself in the crowd at Shibuya Crossing, stroll among cosplayers and vintage boutiques in Harajuku, dine in the informal, authentic eateries of Shinjuku and Dotonbori, photograph the dawn over the red torii gates of Fushimi Inari and chat over a steaming bowl of ramen in an izakaya. Every day is a carefully balanced mix of cultural stops, local experiences and time to live Japan your own way. The trip also includes "experiential" moments perfect for a young audience: shopping for gadgets in Akihabara, strolls through the food markets, sunsets over Odaiba Bay, evenings in the liveliest districts of the cities visited. Accompanied by an expert Italian guide who is always on hand, with central, comfortable accommodation, this tour is ideal for anyone wanting a first taste of Japan in good company, with the reassurance of Guiness organisation and the right mood for those who want to be moved, have fun and come home with a thousand stories to tell.
