Breakfast at the hotel – full day devoted to visiting Sydney and its splendid harbour with a local guide; from the southern headland known as The Gap you can admire the Pacific Ocean - visit to the historic area of The Rocks (the birthplace of Sydney) - lunch at leisure – in the afternoon, visit to the Sydney Opera House –interior-, a UNESCO World Heritage Site - cruise on Sydney Harbour aboard a boat from Circular Quay Wharf or King Street Wharf – afterwards, return to the hotel – dinner in a restaurant in lively Darling Harbour - after dinner, Sydney by night: a stroll with the tour leader – overnight stay.

Early-morning excursion with a local guide to Uluru & Kata Tjuta National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to watch the sunrise over Uluru (we will watch the first rays of sun light up the “Red Centre” - we then travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta – enjoying the panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta along the way, before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge – we spend some time exploring the gorge and its unusual rock formations) - return to the hotel in the late morning – breakfast - departure for Alice Springs, a complex mix of Aboriginal and European colonial history, crossing the Australian Outback – lunch at leisure - arrival in Alice Springs in the evening - dinner at the hotel - tour leader on hand - overnight stay -

Breakfast at the hotel – full-day excursion with a local guide – the first stop is Yanchep National Park, where you can walk the 240 metres of the Koala Boardwalk and get close to the koalas among the eucalyptus trees, see western grey kangaroos grazing on the lakeshore, and an abundance of native birds perched in the woodland and wetlands – continue north along the Indian Ocean Road (just over two hours) to the small fishing town of Cervantes - tour of the lobster processing plant known as the Lobster Shack, to discover how crayfish and lobsters are processed - lunch in the restaurant at the Lobster Shack, with lobster included on the menu – in the afternoon we head to the Pinnacles, set within the desert landscape of Nambung National Park (fascinating limestone formations up to four metres high, formed from seashells thousands of years ago) - the last stop is the town of Lancelin, which boasts vast sand dunes and where you might try your hand at sandboarding – return to the hotel in the evening - dinner at the hotel - evening at leisure – tour leader on hand – overnight stay.
