Why this tour?

  1. to visit the two best-loved regions of northern France, Normandy and Brittany
  2. to discover Saint-Malo and Concarneau, two walled towns
  3. to be moved by Mont Saint-Michel, a place unlike any other in the world

Here is a wonderful tour with an itinerary, entirely by coach, that winds through several regions, focusing on the best-loved regions of the north: Brittany & Normandy. They have always drawn visitors with their slightly "wild" charm, as unspoilt regions steeped in tradition, but also for the chance to be won over by art, breathtaking landscapes, exquisite food, lonely lighthouses and delightful half-timbered houses, charming little harbours and megaliths, narrow lanes and ancient stone wash-houses. What a spectacle! Nothing will feel like something you have seen before.

Mont Saint-Michel has the highest tides in continental Europe. Witnessing this natural phenomenon is an unforgettable sight. At low tide, the sea lies 15 km from the coast. But at its peak, the water comes right up to lap the mainland like any seaside resort. The incredible thing is that it all happens in a matter of seconds, and in the blink of an eye the landscape changes completely. The tide comes in like lightning, with the sea level rising by an average of more than 12 metres, a unique and breathtaking spectacle visible only a few times a year. As if by magic, Mont Saint-Michel is surrounded by the sea and becomes an island. The Mont and its bay have been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Even without witnessing the tides, it remains an enchanting place that is absolutely worth a visit.
