Why this tour?

  1. to admire the fairy-tale landscape and the "fairy chimneys" of Cappadocia, exploring unique valleys and villages.
  2. to discover the treasures of Istanbul, from Byzantine and Ottoman masterpieces to the bustling Grand Bazaar.
  3. to enjoy unforgettable experiences such as a cruise on the Bosphorus or a visit to an underground city, and to sleep in a special hotel carved into the rock.

Discovering Turkey, between the Lunar Landscapes of Cappadocia and the Wonders of Istanbul. A fascinating journey awaits travellers, a route that combines the natural magic of Cappadocia with the historic splendour of Istanbul. The itinerary is designed to offer a complete and comfortable experience, thanks to stays in 5-star hotels and the constant presence of an expert guide. The adventure begins in Cappadocia, a region that seems to have stepped out of a book of fairy tales. Here, whole days are devoted to exploring this plateau, famous for its unique geological formations known as "fairy chimneys". The tour includes a visit to the Göreme Valley, an open-air museum declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and to the evocative Pasabag Valley. The exploration continues underground with a visit to the incredible underground city of Kaymakli, an ancient metropolis carved into the rock. The journey through this region also takes in characteristic villages such as Avanos, famous for its pottery, and Uchisar, with its imposing rocky peak. The second part of the trip takes place in Istanbul, the magnificent metropolis straddling Europe and Asia. After an internal flight from Kayseri, visitors are immersed in the city’s thousand-year history. The programme includes visits to the most iconic sites, many of them UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the ancient Roman Hippodrome, the majestic Blue Mosque with its six minarets and the Basilica of Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture. The days in Istanbul are enriched by unique experiences, such as a visit to the colourful Spice Market, a ferry cruise on the Bosphorus to admire Ottoman villas and palaces, and an exploration of Topkapi Palace, including its fascinating Harem section. There are also visits to the Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent, the evocative Underground Cistern and the lively Grand Bazaar. The tour also offers evening excursions to admire the illuminated city, with walks in the Sultanahmet district and visits to the modern Galataport and bustling Taksim Square.

A Prestigious Itinerary through Turkey’s UNESCO Sites. This tour is a deep immersion in Turkey’s cultural and natural heritage, with a particular focus on UNESCO-listed sites, all framed by high-level service. The journey winds between two of the country’s most emblematic destinations, offering an experience that combines geological wonder with imperial grandeur. The route begins in Cappadocia, where the landscape itself is a monument. The Göreme Valley, the heart of the region and a UNESCO site, enchants with its rock-hewn monastic complex and Byzantine churches. The itinerary makes it possible to appreciate the uniqueness of this place, shaped by erosion, through visits to valleys such as Pasabag and Avcilar. The exploration does not stop at the surface but descends into the depths of history with a visit to the underground city of Kaymakli, a labyrinth dug out over several levels that bears witness to the ingenuity of the ancient peoples of Anatolia. From this almost surreal setting, the journey moves on to Istanbul, whose historic centre is itself a World Heritage Site. Here, travellers can admire centuries of history at close quarters. The guided tour crosses the Sultanahmet area, where the Blue Mosque and the Basilica of Hagia Sophia, eternal symbols of the city, stand a short distance from each other. Another UNESCO jewel included in the programme is the Mosque of Suleiman the Magnificent, a masterpiece by the celebrated architect Sinan. The experience is enriched by exclusive comforts, such as stays in 5-star hotels, lunches in selected restaurants and the presence of a dedicated guide. Features such as the mini-cruise on the Bosphorus, the visit to the Harem section of Topkapi Palace and the evening excursions by private coach elevate the journey further, allowing you to discover every facet of these destinations without a care in the world.
