Breakfast at the hotel – in the morning, visit to Patan (known for its craft traditions, such as bronze statues, and its highly ornate architecture) and its Durbar Square – the city's main attractions look onto the square – lunch in a restaurant – in the afternoon, visit to the city of Kathmandu, whose squares, markets, pagodas and temples still retain the charm of a medieval atmosphere, and to the Buddhist religious complex of Swayambhunath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, also known as the “monkey temple” for the large population of these animals living around the site, and Durbar Square, one of the city's main squares, rich in monuments – followed by a rickshaw ride from Durbar Square to the lively Thamel district, through the city's bustling narrow lanes and its bazaar - dinner at the hotel – after dinner Kathmandu by night, panoramic tour by private coach with guide – overnight stay.

N.B. – at dawn, option of an optional helicopter excursion over Everest, lasting around 1 hour, weather permitting.

Breakfast at the hotel – in the morning, visit to the Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and to Boudhanath Stupa, the largest Buddhist monument in the world, and to a Buddhist monastery where you can talk and interact with the resident monks – lunch in a restaurant - in the afternoon, onward for a guided visit to Bhaktapur, the best-preserved medieval city in the Kathmandu Valley, with some of the finest religious architecture and also known as the “city of devotees”, where we watch typical pottery being made, and to the Changu Narayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, overlooking the terraced rice fields that dominate the valley – return to the hotel in Kathmandu - dinner at the hotel – evening at leisure – tour leader on hand – overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel – departure for Chitwan (along a scenic road with unique views over Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that preserves an incredible variety of flora and fauna, with more than 56 species of mammals, 49 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 525 different species of birds, amid winding rivers and dense sal forests) – arrival at the hotel in Chitwan – lunch at the hotel - in the afternoon visit to the nearby village of the Tharu people – dinner at the hotel – evening at leisure – tour leader on hand – overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel – full day devoted to exploring the jungle with local naturalist guides, walking through unspoilt nature and birdwatching, with a variety of experiences on offer including a Jeep Safari in search of the local wildlife, with majestic elephants roaming free, and a relaxing canoe trip – lunch in a restaurant - return to the hotel in Chitwan – dinner at the hotel – after dinner, a cultural show of Tharu dances – tour leader on hand – overnight stay.

Early-morning departure to watch the sunrise from Sarangkot, a mountain above the city at 1,600 m, from where we can see the sun emerge between the mountains, at a strategic vantage point among the highest peaks, and the valley below – breakfast at the hotel – in the morning, visit to the ancient, wonderfully colourful bazaar, the Bindabasini Temple, and the Tibetan Refugee Camp, one of the most authentic villages, offering a glimpse of the everyday life of the Nepalese people – lunch in a restaurant – in the afternoon, visit to the Seti Gorge, on the banks of the river that winds along the Pokhara valley, rich in geological wonders, crossing the bridges to Devi's Falls and Gupteshwor Cave, Nepal's most famous cave, which collects the waters of the waterfall above – return to the hotel – dinner at the hotel – evening at leisure – tour leader on hand – overnight stay.
