Description
Brazil, between natural wonders and urban vibrations. This tour of Brazil is a true immersion in its many-sided soul, where the vibrant energy of the cities merges with the majesty of its natural wonders. São Paulo, Iguazú and Rio de Janeiro are the stars of a journey that celebrates the cultural diversity, breathtaking landscapes and traditions of an extraordinary country. The itinerary begins in São Paulo, the beating heart of modern Brazil. The city reveals its thousand faces, from the elegance of the Higienópolis district to the lively streets of Liberdade, the largest Japanese neighbourhood in the world outside Japan. A visit to Ibirapuera Park, with the Afro-Brazilian Museum, offers an insight into the country’s rich history and culture. The views from the Banespa Tower are breathtaking, while the culinary stops, such as lunch in a churrascaria, delight the palate with the authentic flavours of Brazil. From here we fly to Iguazú, where nature takes centre stage. The Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are a masterpiece of power and beauty, with the famous Garganta do Diablo putting on an unforgettable show. The experience is enriched by the Bird Park, a true paradise for lovers of exotic wildlife. The final stop is Rio de Janeiro, the marvellous city. Christ the Redeemer dominates the bay with a view that leaves you speechless, while the Tijuca Forest, the largest urban forest in the world, wraps visitors in a green embrace. The discovery continues with the bohemian district of Santa Teresa and historic Rio, a treasure chest of works and monuments that tell of centuries of history. The tour ends with a cruise in the bay and a visit to the Niterói Museum of Contemporary Art, a symbol of Brazil’s architectural daring. A journey that touches the soul, offering the best of a Brazil that never ceases to enchant.
The secret face of São Paulo. São Paulo, often associated with its economic dimension, turns out to be a surprising stop, capable of capturing travellers’ hearts with its cosmopolitan spirit and its many souls. This tour explores every facet of it, revealing a city where past and future meet. The journey begins in the historic centre, where the Sé Cathedral and the Mosteiro de São Bento tell of São Paulo’s religious and cultural roots. Strolling along the Pateo do Colegio, you sense the atmosphere of colonial Brazil, a fascinating contrast with the modern architecture visible from the Banespa Tower, which offers a breathtaking view over this boundless city. São Paulo is also elegance and modernity. The Higienópolis district impresses with its historic buildings and discreet charm, while Avenida Paulista is a concentration of urban energy, with its prestigious buildings, museums and refined cafés. Not to be missed is a stroll in Ibirapuera Park, the green heart of the city, where art and nature meet in the Afro-Brazilian Museum, which celebrates the country’s African roots. The real surprise is the Liberdade district, a corner of the Orient in Brazil. Here Japanese culture shows in every detail, from the typical markets to the red lanterns that decorate the streets. It is a unique place, where multicultural Brazil reveals itself in all its beauty. São Paulo comes alive at night, with lights and sounds that turn the city into a true open-air show. The evening panoramic tour offers unforgettable glimpses, while the free evenings give you the chance to discover bars and restaurants that reflect its lively cultural and gastronomic scene. São Paulo is not just a stop but a genuine experience, capable of surprising and captivating even the most seasoned travellers. A perfect starting point for an unforgettable journey through Brazil.
Iguazú National Park and its attractions are awe-inspiring. The incredible landscapes spread over an area of 186,000 hectares are best appreciated from the many viewpoints and scenic trails. The boundaries of the Iguazú Park extend into Argentina, with a full 67,000 hectares. There, the best means of transport is the train, which leads to two circuits: the lower circuit, a 1,700-metre trail that runs alongside the falls down to water level, and the 650-metre upper circuit, with suspended walkways that reveal the full picture of the falls complex. Both routes end at the edge of the largest and most thrilling of the falls: the Devil’s Throat (Garganta do Diablo). At 90 metres high, it is the iconic image of Iguazú National Park. The Bird Park is home to no fewer than 900 birds: 160 species from the five continents, divided among five aviaries perfectly integrated into the vegetation. Canaries and thrushes swooping low over visitors are a common sight. The natural habitats of the Pantanal and the Amazon have been recreated for parrots, toucans, macaws, herons, alligators, snakes and turtles. One aviary houses as many as 15 species of butterfly. The park lies 500 metres from Iguazú National Park.
