Description
A complete journey into the heart of Peru. An itinerary designed to capture the most authentic essence of Peru, between spectacular natural beauty and the indelible traces of its Inca and colonial heritage. From the lively capital Lima to refined Arequipa, from the dizzying canyons of the Colca to a boat trip on Lake Titicaca, and on to the majesty of Machu Picchu, every stop is a piece of a fascinating and coherent mosaic. The ever-changing landscape, alternating high plateaux, volcanoes, lagoons and cultivated terraces, is a constant companion, while encounters with local communities enrich the cultural experience. All of this is made even more comfortable by the presence of a tour leader from Italy, carefully selected hotels and a well-balanced pace, with free time and expertly organised visits. Designed for a small group of no more than 25 people, this tour lets you experience Peru in an exclusive and profound way, with all entrance fees included and high-quality services. A great South American classic, approached in the spirit of a unique experience.
Machu Picchu and the eternal call of the Inca civilisation. The ascent to Machu Picchu, “the lost city of the Incas”, is the high point of a journey into the spiritual and historical heart of Peru. Set in breathtaking natural surroundings and shrouded in an aura of mystery, the citadel embodies the architectural perfection and cosmic vision of the Incas. The visit, led by an expert guide and with a limited number of participants, lets you fully experience the thrill of one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world.
But the road to Machu Picchu is a crescendo: from the salt pans of Maras to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, passing through the Sacred Valley, the journey prepares both eye and soul for this unique encounter. The whole route showcases the Andean heritage, with stops in villages, a scenic train ride and direct contact with a living, welcoming culture. For those who wish to discover Machu Picchu not as a mere tourist stop but as a transformative, mindful experience, this tour is the ideal choice.
