Description
A new tour that allows you to explore the Portuguese capital in greater depth, at your own pace. Tradition, modernity, food and wine and folklore will be our travelling companions, under the banner of beauty and culture.
The Time Out Market , spread over two floors, turns 15 in 2023. On the ground floor it has a vast area filled with numerous tables, around which runs a string of typical little restaurants serving traditional Portuguese meat and fish dishes. Besides the restaurants, of many different kinds, there are also stall-style shops where you can buy, for example, delicious tins of herring (suitable even for hand luggage), ice cream, the characteristic sweets of the Portuguese tradition and a good bottle of wine to take back to Italy as a souvenir. Time Out has established itself as one of the unmissable experiences of the Portuguese capital, becoming thoroughly “trendy” and earning the attention of trade magazines and social media platforms. Inside, besides the great variety of products, there thrives a cosmopolitan and fascinating humanity, made up of different cultures and ethnicities that come together to form a truly unique and interesting mosaic.
Pink Street is a plunge into Lisbon's nightlife and vies with the Bairro Alto district for the title of queen of the night. Once a corner given over to trade, thanks to its proximity to the port, today Pink Street presents itself to visitors as a prime vantage point from which to observe Portuguese night-life. The name refers to the pink colour of the street's paving. Today Pink Street has many other restaurants and clubs, some of the best in the city. Despite a complete restyling, this little street in the heart of Lisbon has not lost the charm of the past. The old venues and the vocation of the place have made their mark with their eccentric, unique style. Everything here reflects times gone by, in a more modern and appealing key
