Breakfast at the hotel - full day devoted to visiting the city with a local guide along the Freedom Trail, a walking route of around 4 kilometres taking in 16 sites of historic importance (including the Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King’s Chapel Burying Ground, the Benjamin Franklin Statue, the Old Corner Bookstore, the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere Church, the Bunker Hill Monument, USS Constitution) – lunch at leisure – afternoon excursion with a local guide to Cambridge and visit of the prestigious universities of Harvard and MIT – dinner at a restaurant – after dinner, Boston by night: a stroll with the tour leader through the harbour, Back Bay and the historic centre – overnight stay.
