Description
An ideal journey for "true travellers" who have already visited Paris and wish to discover every detail of these splendid regions: Normandy, Brittany and the Loire.
In addition to the Guiness tour leader, a guide will accompany the group from day 2 to day 8. During the tour we change hotel every day, so we recommend practical clothing and easy-to-handle luggage.
The time available is used to the full, evenings included, with pleasant organised outings, and a guided visit on the morning of the last day that will delight even those who already know the city.
Brittany, "the land" that welcomed Gauguin before his leap to Polynesia. Here the painter, fleeing Paris in search of inspiration and a new light, found a land that was more authentic, freer from convention, more primitive.
The gems: the Bayeux Tapestry, properly the Tapisserie de la Reine Mathilde; and the village of Locronan, where Roman Polanski’s famous film “Tess” was shot in 1979.
Mont Saint-Michel: the UNESCO site par excellence, set in the bay of the same name, home to the greatest tides in Europe.
