Breakfast at the hotel - full-day guided excursion – in the morning, visit of the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula - boat trip to Seal Island, where a colony of around 500 seals lives undisturbed (approximately 45 minutes) - we continue with a visit to a fascinating penguin colony at Simon’s Town (some years ago a small group arrived on this little beach and, after initial difficulties in settling, developed into a fully fledged colony, now protected) - fish-based lunch at a restaurant – in the afternoon, visit to the Cape of Good Hope, with entrance to the nature reserve where the local flora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (including splendid proteas), is still well preserved, along with baboons and antelopes - ascent to Cape Point, the furthest tip of the Peninsula, from whose summit there is an incomparable view over False Bay and, with a little imagination, you can watch the two oceans meet – in the evening, return to the hotel – dinner at the hotel – evening at leisure - tour leader available – overnight stay.
