Breakfast at the hotel – departure for Civitella del Tronto - guided visit of the fortress village (remains of this mighty fortress on what was once the border of the Papal States) - traditional lunch in a restaurant - in the afternoon, guided visit of Atri, a town rich in history and art (the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta with its horizontal-crowned façade, Romanesque layout and 15th-century decorations, and a stroll through the historic centre to admire the exterior of the Palazzo degli Acquaviva as far as the belvedere) - a small tasting of liquorice and the typical “Pan Ducale” cake and Città Sant’Angelo (a village where time seems to have stood still, suspended between the mountains and the sea, to which the great bulk of the Collegiate Church, the noble palaces, the historic town gates and the churches lend a breathtaking elegance and beauty) - free time for shopping - check-in at the hotel in Pescara in the evening - dinner in a traditional restaurant - after dinner, Pescara by night: a stroll with the tour leader – overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel – full-day excursion with a local guide – departure for Lower Molise along the Biferno valley floor – following spectacular viaducts, we cross Lake Guardialfiera, formed by the construction of the dam of the same name - visit to Larino (historic centre with the Cathedral, the church of San Francesco, the Ducal Palace – Roman amphitheatre) – visit to a winery & traditional lunch with a tasting of DOC wines (a hands-on experience of the world of wine, with time in the vineyard to get up close to the vines and time in the cellar, a tour of the winemaking areas and ageing rooms, tasting straight from the barrel, and finally a tasting menu at the table made up of a series of local products and dishes paired with DOC and IGT wines) and Termoli (a stroll through the Borgo Vecchio, the old quarter enclosed by ancient walls and one of the most beautiful in Italy, standing on a rocky promontory directly above the sea, with the Cathedral at its centre, a national monument in Romanesque style, and the Swabian Castle –exterior-) - return to the hotel in Campobasso in the evening - dinner at the hotel – after dinner, a stroll with the tour leader – overnight stay.
