Why this tour?

  1. to get to know Jordan, a magnificent country
  2. to spend a night in the Wadi Rum desert
  3. to visit Petra in exclusive style

Jordan is a country that stays in the heart, through the beauty of its natural scenery, the richness of its history and the warm welcome of the Jordanian people. On this tour, enriched by a night spent in the Wadi Rum desert, we admire its most iconic places and most evocative sites, from the capital Amman to the rocky desert of Lawrence of Arabia.

Amman is one of the liveliest cities in the Middle East. Also known as the White City for the dominant colour of its buildings, like Rome and Lisbon Amman spreads over 7 hills, divided between the upper town and the so-called “Downtown”, where most of the trade takes place. The beating heart of the city is marked by remains from the Hellenistic and Roman eras, still visible today. From the Citadel there is an extraordinary view over the Amman skyline, while at sunset the echo of the muezzin’s call rises into the evening air...

The Wadi Rum is a desert unique in the world, largely rocky in composition. Its colours change with the hours of the day and span every shade of ochre, pink and orange. Bedouin communities still live within it, having long since grown used to travellers, whom they take to discover the secrets of their land on a 4x4 jeep tour. In some parts of the desert, very ancient remains can be seen, resembling graffiti and rock carvings, the work of unknown travellers who passed through these same places. Visiting Wadi Rum means retracing the exploits of the great Lawrence of Arabia, who waged his guerrilla war against the Ottomans from here, but above all it means spending an unforgettable night with your face turned skywards to admire the spectacle of the starry sky, in the silence of immense open spaces...

The Dead Sea

The lowest point on earth, midway between Israel and Jordan, is a place of powerful biblical echoes and, at the same time, of personal well-being and relaxation. Lying 400 m below sea level, this extraordinary expanse of blue water, smooth as marble on windless winter days or ruffled into salty, foaming waves by the summer winds, is an area unique in the world and of the greatest interest. The extreme salinity of the water is not due to the Dead Sea lying below sea level, but rather to its intense evaporation. In the evening, a particularly gentle and welcome breeze blows. The best way to visit the Dead Sea is to stay in one of the luxurious resorts on the shore, where you can enjoy the spa’s wellness treatments, admire the sunset over the sea and raise a glass to the lights coming on in the surrounding towns.
